The library is subscribed to over many academic databases and digital resources, which are listed on the library website individually or in collections.

Description

A-Z Database List (LibGuides): provides a powerful interface for browsing and searching the list of library databases by their type and subject area, including links to “how-to” pages and tutorial videos for every resource, and list of popular and new/trial databases.

A-Z Publications Finder (EBSCO): provides alphabetical title list of electronic full-text journals and publications to which the library has access. This search interface finds and lists all instances of coverage for each e-journal on the library databases.

Academic Search Complete (EBSCO): provides complete coverage of multidisciplinary academic journals. This resource fully supports scholarly research in the key areas of academic study by providing scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals, full-text periodicals, reports, television reviews, books, images, and much more.

ACM Digital Library is a research, discovery, and networking platform containing: full-Text collection of all ACM publications, including journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines, newsletters, and books. The ACM Guide to Computing Literature is a comprehensive bibliographic database that focuses exclusively on the field of computing.

American Chemical Society (ACS) Publications: provides a comprehensive collection of over 1,000,300 research articles, 100,000 news stories, 35,000 book chapters, and 1,000 references and Standards that advance the practice of the chemical and related sciences. It provides access to chemistry-related information and research through peer-reviewed journals and eBooks. Research from Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry and Medicine have been published in ACS Publications in journals and eBooks.

American Doctoral Dissertation (EBSCO): provides researchers with citations to graduate research across a broad span of time, from the early 20th century to the present. It provides electronic access to the only comprehensive record of dissertations, which contain twenty-two years of dissertation research and amounting to nearly 80,000 citations.

ASTM Compass Sponsored by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation: provide consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services in areas such as metals, petroleum, construction, rubber, the environment, and more. These standards are used to improve product quality, enhance health and safety, strengthen market access and trade, and build consumer confidence. It provides coverage of journals, selected technical papers, manuals/monographs, technical reports, data Series, and more.

Business Source Complete (EBSCO): provides full-text coverage plus indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals. It provides resources that support full text, references available, and scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals.

Business Video Database (ProQuest): As part of the One Business Library, this database features executive interviews, corporate training videos, case studies, “how to” features and documentary films that focus on all aspects of the global business environment. Videos have been selected to support educators in the classroom and student research and projects via easily streamed clips, many ranging from two to 10 minutes.

Cabells Scholarly Analytics – (The Journal Blacklist): consists of a database that provides a list of questionable journals based on peer-review policy, fees, quality metrics, and many more features that researchers should be aware of when making decisions about where to publish. Specialists analyze over 60 behavioral indicators to keep the community aware of the growing threats and to keep academia protected from exploitative operations.

Coronavirus Research Database (ProQuest): Including coverage of the COVID-19 outbreak, this database curates openly available content related to coronaviruses. It includes thousands of open-access articles from the world’s leading publishers as well as current research from pre-print repositories such as arXiv and will continue to grow and evolve as more is learned about the pandemic.

Ebook Central (ProQuest – Business Premium Collection): E-book Central Business Premium Collection provides authoritative, full-text e-books in a wide range of business- related subject areas along with powerful tools to find, use, and manage the information.

Compendex – EI Engineering Village (Elsevier): Provides references from over 20 million records, journals, conferences, and trade publications covering 190 disciplines within the Engineering field. It provides resources that cover journal articles, conference articles, dissertations, book chapters, etc.

Credo General Reference: provides full text to over 1,100 titles with particular emphasis on encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and reference handbooks in a variety of major subjects. CREDO has the ability for searching 3,250,764 full-text articles in more than 750 titles from 137 publishers.

E-Books Academic Collection (EBSCO): provides a large collection of e-book and audiobook titles that allow a comprehensive and powerful search experience. The patron can browse Oxford American dictionary on the same platform.

Emerald: A large collection of books and periodicals that provide resources for Business Administration students. Emerald manages a portfolio of over 300 journals, more than 2,500 books, and over 2, 000 teaching cases.

ERIC – Education Resource Information Center: provides access to educational literature and resources. This database provides access to information from journals included in the current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. It includes Thesaurus to look up for different kinds of keywords. It provides subject coverage for ERIC documents, reports, academic journals, books, educational reports, etc.

IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL): features content from IEEE, as well as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL) and contains one-third of the world’s current literature in electrical engineering, communications, and computer science. It provides resources that cover journals and magazines, books, conferences, citations, and more. It has the ability to search over 5,443,764 items. 

IEEE – Wiley eBooks Library: provides full-text access to over 1,020  e-books, covering many Engineering disciplines.

InCites Essential Science Indicator: helps in identifying top-performing research in Web of Science Core Collection. ESI surveys more than 12,000 journals from around the world to rank authors, institutions, countries, and journals in 22 broad fields based on publication and citation performance. It provides three main categories: indicators, field baselines, and citation thresholds. It includes bi-monthly updates to rankings and citation counts.

JCR – Journal citation report: offers a systematic and objective means to critically evaluate the world’s leading journals, with quantifiable and statistical information based on citation data. It provides information about academic journals in the natural sciences and social sciences, including impact factors. It has the ability to browse by journal and category.

JSTOR: provides full-text access to more than 2,600 journals in many disciplines. JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million academic journal articles, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.

Knovel (Elsevier): provides technical information, analytical tools, and powerful search built specifically for engineers to save time, reach the market faster and limit costly redesigns. It provides patrons instant access to thousands of materials and millions of properties such as chemicals, plastics, metals, alloys, and composites. Knovel has a tool of ready-to-use equations to solve problems faster.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts LISTA – (EBSCO):  indexes more than 394 core journals, nearly 20 priority journals, and nearly 62 selective journals; books, research reports, and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometric, online information retrieval, information management, and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.

MathSciNet: provides references to journal articles, conference reports, books and reviews, and summaries. It covers all areas of pure and applied Mathematics as well as the history of Mathematics. 3,995,387 is the total publications. It provides resources that cover books, journals, and proceedings.

MLA International Bibliography (EBSCO): provides millions of citations from journals & series, as well as book publishers. This resource also contains hundreds of thousands of subject names and terms covering humanities. It includes different kinds of publication types such as book articles/chapters, dissertation abstracts, and websites.

Morgan & Claypool Synthesis eBooks Library: focuses on computer science and engineering innovations, tying together the best of quantitative data with the best of qualitative data. The collection consists of more than 950 eBooks that synthesize an important research or development topic, authored by an expert contributor to the field.

Now Publishers Foundation and Trends Complete (IEEE): consists of a collection of high-quality e-Book titles, which provide a quick, trustworthy introduction to emerging topics in engineering and computer science. The collection includes approximately 565 titles and is an exceptional resource for graduate students, corporate engineers, and researchers exploring a new topic or looking for a high-level introduction to a new subject area.

One Business (ProQuest): An intuitive and comprehensive business library containing millions of full-text items across scholarly and popular periodicals, newspapers, market research reports, dissertations, books, videos and more. Developed in collaboration with faculty, students and business librarians, ProQuest One Business delivers a mix of practical and theoretical content in an interface that helps students build the research skills they will need for success in their courses and careers.

J.P. Morgan Research

Professional Development Collections (EBSCO): provides a full text for nearly 520 high-quality education journals. It includes different kinds of publication types such as pamphlets, periodicals, and books.

Publicly Available Content Database (ProQuest): Designed to complement other databases and collections, this database brings together or links to full text for publicly available scholarly content from a number of different sources from around the world. It includes content from major subject repositories such as arXiv as well as open access journals. Content includes journal articles, pre-prints, books, conference papers and reports.

Regional Business News (EBSCO): provides coverage for full-text business publications, on a regional level, for the United States and Canadian provinces. Key resources include newspapers, radio and TV news transcripts, trade publications, magazines, and newswires.

ScienceDirect, engineering collection (Elsevier): Provides full-text access to many academic journals and e-books covering scientific, technical, and medical research. Currently, over 1.4 million articles on ScienceDirect are open access. Articles published open access are peer-reviewed and made free for everyone to read, download and reuse in line with the authors’ choice of user license.

Scopus (Elsevier): is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books, and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world’s research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities. Scopus features smart tools to track, analyze, and visualize research.

SpringerLink (e-Books & e-Journals): A large collection of journals and references covering many disciplines such as chemistry, economics, education, biomedicine, and pharmacy. Providing researchers with access to over 10 million scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols, reference works, and proceedings. New books and journals are available every day.

Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics): provides researchers with access to millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols, and reference works. It contains citations from scientific articles across Sciences and Technology, Arts and Humanities, and Social Sciences.
